Gleaner 5 series combines
The Agco Gleaner combine company has recently released it's new 5 series combines onto the market. Gleaners rotors differ from the other rotory combines sold because they sit crossways inside the combine instead of lenghtwise from the feederhouse. This crossways idea allows the grain to flow ribbon like through the combine instead of changing directions.
New CAT Lexion combine
The CAT company has just increased its product line by introducing the Lexion 475.
The Lexion 475 is powered by the new 8.8 L Caterpillar C9 diesel engine. The engine is turbocharged and air-to-air aftercooled and rated 330 hp at 2100 rpm in this application. The C9 is Caterpillar's first application of its HEUI-B common rail fuel system and marks the debut of the new ADEM III electronic control package. The servo shift system is especially good for smoothing shifts made on grades or in rolling terrain and the system also reduces stress on the transmission itself with the smoother shifts. Along with Cat's Accelerated pre-sepparation rotary threshing system Caterpillar now builds one of the largest combines on the market today.

9770 STS 9.0 Liter 360hp 300 bu
9770 STS 9.0 Liter 360hp 300 bu
9870 STS 13.5 Liter 440hp 300 bu
The 70 Series Combines are powered by field-proven, John Deere PowerTech Plus™ engines that are cleaner-burning, more fuel-efficient and factory-approved to use up to B5 biodiesel fuel. The Combines also features a new DynaFlo II cleaning system with Increased Cleaning Capacity (ICC). It is designed to deliver 15 percent more cleaning capacity generated by a longer sieve stroke and a new front-chaffer extension. This new design increases the cleaning capacity and ensures a cleaner crop in the grain tank even with higher-bushel crops. Instead of continuously holding an adjustment switch for a particular setting, the operator is now able to rotate a selection knob to the desired setting which is viewable on the CommandCenter display. Along with John Deere's proven bullet rotor this combine has everything that makes a quality combine.
